Source: AT&T ready to rollout "gigabit" Internet service in Atlanta, Sandy Springs

AT&T is expected to announce Monday plans to roll out ultra-fast Internet service — also known as gigabit Internet — in Atlanta. The wireless carrier will initially launch gigabit Internet to subscribers of AT&T's U-verse television service in the City of Atlanta and Sandy Springs, a source said.
