The Atlanta Hawks have a new owner -- A group led by Ares Management LP’s billionaire co-founder Tony Ressler, a person familiar with the matter told Atlanta Business Chronicle. A spokesperson with the team would not offer comment when asked about the sale by Atlanta Business Chronicle. Ressler’s group paid nearly $850 million, Atlanta Business Chronicle has learned.
