Gwinnett County commissioners are expected to vote Tuesday on a proposed ground lease for a five-acre site at Gwinnett Center that would clear the way for construction of a headquarters hotel.
The Gwinnett County Convention and Visitors Bureau's board of directors agreed this week to recommend approval of the lease, the Gwinnett Daily Post reports.
Tourism board officials say the project represents a $70 million investment, the paper adds.
