
The developer of a mixed-use project slated for northwest Atlanta asked the city’s economic development agency Wednesday for $700,000 to build a road considered vital to finishing the work.
Herbert Ames, Atlanta-based vice president of the Southeast for retail developer Edens, told board members of Invest Atlanta the money would be combined with $500,000 the agency already has committed to build an extension to Moores Mill Road that would serve the project’s anchor, a 45,000-square-foot Publix.
