Ann Price, the owner of Ann’s Snack Bar on Memorial Drive in Atlanta and creator of the famous Ghetto Burger, has died at 72. Price, a popular figure in her neighborhood, founded the business in 1971. The restaurant and the burger Price created have been listed on numerous “Best Of’ lists.
