Filmmaker Tyler Perry's plans for Fort McPherson close to falling apart

Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed is making a final attempt to save a deal that would allow filmmaker Tyler Perry to turn much of Fort McPherson into a movie studio. The deal, which has been stalled for months, would involve Tyler Perry Studios buying 331 acres of the 488-acre former Army base.
