As 20-year anniversary of Olympics in Atlanta nears, Bostonians oppose campaign for games there

It will be 20 years ago next year that Atlanta hosted the Summer Olympic Games. No other American city has hosted the Summer Games since then. As Boston organizers prepare to launch a bid to host the 2014 Summer Olympic Games, a new poll by Boston National Public Radio station WBUR finds that more than 50 percent of registered voters oppose the bid.
