
That red tie might look great, but it could be sending an unintended message, according to a new study published by The Royal Society’s Biology Letters. .
When men wear red, people think they are angry or aggressive, the study says.
"Color has subconscious psychological effects to which humans are just as susceptible as non-human species," Robert Barton, an author of the study and professor of evolutionary anthropology at Durham University in England, told NBC’s Today.
