Blue Cross-Blue Shield worker used customer data to file $494K in false tax returns

A former Blue Cross-Blue Shield worker pleaded guilty Tuesday to using customers’ information to file more than 180 false tax returns worth an estimated $494,000. Authorities say Danielle Wallace, 36, pleaded guilty to wire fraud, aggravated identity theft and filing false tax returns, reports Columbus Ledger-Enquirer.
