Report: Universal Alloy Corp. plans 44-acre expansion in Ball Ground, will do Boeing work

Canton, Ga.-based aerospace products manufacturer Universal Alloy Corp. is buying 44 acres in Ball Ground for future expansion, Cherokee Tribune is reporting. Both cities are in Cherokee County. Chip Poth, chief executive officer of Universal Alloy Corp., said in a prepared statement the manufacturer chose Ball Ground due to rail spur access.
