OSHA cites Panolam for safety violations, proposes nearly $80K in penalties

Panolam Industries International Inc. has been cited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for violations OSHA says expose workers to hazards. OSHA has proposed penalties of $79,650. OSHA said in a prepared statement it conducted an inspection Nov. 20, 2014 at 6300 Atlantic Blvd. in Norcross, Ga., after receiving a complaint alleging workplace safety hazards.
