A big Canadian private equity firm has invested in Atlanta's second-largest security company.
Imperial Capital Group of Toronto and its partner OPTrust Private Markets Group did not disclose the size of its investment in Ackerman. But in a May 19 filing with the Security and Exchange Commission, an entity affiliated with Atlantic Capital Partners reported that it sold $58.2 million in equity.
