
One high-priority piece of legislation stalled in the General Assembly this week while another moved forward.
Until this week, a comprehensive transportation funding bill widely considered the first order of business for lawmakers this year was making progress. It had survived two subcommittee hearings in the House of Representatives – although not without substantial changes – and then cleared the full House Transportation Committee.
But the legislation got sidetracked on its way to the House…
