The Atlanta Falcons were told this week at the NFL owners meetings in Phoenix what penalty the organization will face for violating league policy, ESPN is reporting. The discipline, which is expected to be announced next week, is expected to be “severe,” league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in February the team violated NFL rules by piping artificial crowd noise into the Georgia Dome during the past two seasons.
