Atlanta leads nation in income inequality, again

Not all cities are created equal – at least when it relates to personal income in our nation's metropolises. Atlanta once again leads the nation for income inequality, beating out San Francisco, Boston, Miami, Washington, D.C., and New York, according to a new report by Washington, D.C.-based Brookings Institution, citing 2012 and 2013 data from the U.S. Census Bureau. "These findings confirm that income inequality remains a salient issue in many big cities today," the Brookings Institution reported.…
