Gwinnett County couple sentenced for $1.4 million Georgia Medicaid fraud

A Gwinnett County couple were sentenced March 6 for stealing $1.4 million from Georgia Medicaid. Olufemi Afuape of Lilburn, Ga., was sentenced to three years house arrest followed by 12 years of probation. Oluyemisi Afuape of Lilburn was sentenced to three years work release at the Gwinnett Detention Center followed by 12 years of probation. The couple must pay back $1.4 million in restitution.
