Southern Co.’s Southern Power unit bought the 30-megawatt Pawpaw Solar Facility in Taylor County, Ga., from Longview Solar LLC for an undisclosed sum.
The solar facility acquisition is Atlanta-based Southern Co.’s (NYSE: SO) fifth in Georgia and gives the energy company 385 megawatts of solar generation in the Peach State.
