
Gwinnett County convenience store owner Terry Stinson got five years and seven months in prison for stealing more than $1 million in a WIC and food stamp fraud scheme.
Stinson, 47, of Grayson, Ga., also must pay $800,015 in restitution.
According to Acting U.S. Attorney John Horn, the charges and other information presented in court: From October 2009 through November 2011, Stinson owned and operated six convenience stores in Gwinnett, including the Nu Energy Foods store in Lawrenceville.
