Delta ‘encouraged’ union effort to organize flight attendants referred to DOJ

The National Mediation Board has dismissed the International Association of Machinists (IAM) application for an election among Delta Air Lines Inc. flight attendants, following the union’s notice it is delaying a drive at the airline after some worker authorization cards were submitted with "insufficient information or questionable signatures. Recruiting tactic goes viral and other links

Like the "dude" movement before it, BC created another viral recruiting theme. This time they borrowed the font and theme of Drake's album and used it in recruiting materials. I know many of you are thinking: "they did what?" or "who's Drake?" Just know that it is working. Kids like the idea and will hopefully like BC.

Benton Travel Group owner sent to jail for scamming customers

Benton Travel Group Inc. owner Oscar Lee Benton will spend up to 10 days in jail and pay a $360,000 fine for scamming customers and failing to refund the money he had been ordered repay. Georgia Attorney General Sam Olens said Benton will also pay back the remaining $4,335 in restitution. Benton Group Travel provided travel services to consumers over the internet and telephone. Two Ravinia Drive sold to Franklin Street Properties

Dunwoody’s Two Ravinia Drive has sold to Franklin Street Properties for a gross purchase price of $78 million. Wakefield, Mass.-based Franklin Street (NYSEMKT: FSP) anticipates planned building capital investments (excluding leasing costs) of approximately $4.8 million to occur over the next three to four years, Franklin said in a prepared statement. Wonya Lucas to be new CEO of Public Broadcasting Atlanta

Wonya Lucas will be the new president and CEO of Public Broadcasting Atlanta – the entity that oversees WABE-90.1 FM and -Channel-30.
